Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with a technical support center in South East Asia and East Africa, that provides program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world.
The Graphic Designer will be responsible for the images, layouts, and other designs based on the requests of internal stakeholders. The position has a critical function for the development of the overall layout and production design for advertisements, brochures, magazines, and Planate Corporate reports.
Key responsibilities:
- • Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on the branding of the company
- • knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts
- • Develop graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, infographics, and Internet websites, using the computer.
- • Creates illustrations, posters ae and overlays as visual aides for divisional presentations and for special presentations by other employees.
- • Creates templates for PowerPoint presentations, Word and Excel forms/reports.
- • Creates organizational chart
- • Compiles and archives digital files, including image files and page layout files.
- • Other duties and responsibilities will be assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications To be successful in the role:
- • Possess a Bachelor/ Associates Degree with a major in commercial art, advertising art, multimedia art, or closely related art field
- • At least 5 to 10 years’ work experience specializing in graphics design/ creative/ arts or equivalent
- • A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
- • Familiarity with design software and technologies in InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and Photoshop)
- • Reasonable ability to follow complex written and oral instructions
