The Frasers Group is searching for an Engineering Tech Lead to join our team and help deliver reliable and innovative digital solutions. As part of our motivated and delivery-focused agile team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our platforms, which include some of the biggest names in retail, along with our mobile applications, websites, and platform tools. Our mission is to provide our customers with the best-in-class digital marketing, trading, UX, payments, and fulfilment experiences. Job Description
This role is available on a mainly remote basis with occasional presence at our Head Office in Shirebrook.
As a Tech Lead at Frasers Group you will recognize that you wear many hats – playing the role of Architect, Project Manager, Software Engineer, Mentor, and Teammate all at once. You will be responsible for a Squad, spending at least 30% of your time writing code with the Team. You will be a solid mentor to your teammates, teaching through pair programming and code reviews.
You will ensure a pragmatic, delivery focused attitude, making you a trusted technical advisor to non-technical stakeholders. Some days you will be head down coding, other days you will be on a “Manager’s Schedule” without time for deep work.
We are looking for a leader, an innovator who can define our roadmap with key stakeholders, someone who has a passion for learning and sharing knowledge, who strives for best practice.
