- The Reliability Engineering Technician 3 will be responsible for conducting tests and performing experiments to evaluate the reliability and performance of Skyworks’ products. This position will provide technical and engineering support to engineers and product support teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem solving skills and be able to work independently. - Responsibilities
Reliability Engineering Technician • Perform de/populating tasks of integrated circuit devices into socket test fixtures for HAST, HTOL, and THB reliability stress jobs
• Determine and load appropriate program files, ensure duration, verify power supply readings, etc.
• Ensure devices are stressed per industry standards following all ESD product handling procedures
• Complete both optical and x-ray inspections of RMA customer return units and document any findings
• Perform both Pre and Post Scanning Acoustic Microscopy (C-SAM) sample unit inspections for Preconditioning of SMD jobs
• Troubleshoot and perform equipment maintenance repairs
• Arrange and facilitate jobs being performed at offsite lab facilitiesQualifications
• AA or 2-year Technical School in electrical engineering or physics
• 2+yrs. experience in Product Reliability performing product qualifications is desired
• BSEE in electrical engineering or physics (no experience necessary)
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
