Key Responsibilities:
- • Provide support to the chief political pollster
- • Project management: Coordinate with internal departments and outside vendors to ensure projects are successful and finish on time, including problem-solving challenges to keep projects on track.
- • Conduct quality control checks on quantitative and qualitative data to ensuring the quality and accuracy of final deliverables
- • Prepare data tables; help synthesize findings from quantitative and qualitative research
- • Conduct background research on candidates/campaigns
- • Prepare first drafts of initial interview scripts for screening focus group, in-depth interviews, and online discussion board participants
- • Program surveys (training provided) and test survey programming
- • Create graphs showcasing the research findings using data vis software
- • Proof and input data in memos, charts, graphs and PowerPoint decks
- • Monitor and take notes for client conference calls and focus groups
- • Monitor sample quotas with outside phone banks and online survey
- • Work on specialized research projects as requested
- Qualifications:
- • Bachelors Degree or Associates Degree + relevant work experience
- • Eager to learn
- • Keen eye for detail and excellent time-management/organizational skills
- • Strong interpersonal, writing and communication skills Strong math skills and experience working with data
- • A good listener and thoughtful reader; able to take clear, thorough notes
- • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- • Able to work weekends/evenings
- • A couple of things that will put your application ahead of other candidates:
- • Coursework in computer programming or data analytics
- • Experience working on political campaign
- • Working knowledge of statistical software packages (R, SPSS)
