The CERN is delighted to offer Junior Fellowship Programme in Geneva, Switzerland. Nationals of a CERN Member or Associate Member State are eligible to apply.
This Programme is aimed at graduates from universities or higher technical institutes in a wide range of applied sciences, computing and engineering with limited or no work experience, looking to work in a research group.
The name CERN is derived from the acronym for the French “Conseil Européen pour la Recherche Nucléaire”, or European Council for Nuclear Research, a provisional body founded in 1952 with the mandate of establishing a world-class fundamental physics research organization in Europe. At that time, pure physics research concentrated on understanding the inside of the atom, hence the word “nuclear”.
1. You are a national of a CERN Member or Associate Member State (https://home.cern/about/member-states).
2. You have graduated, or are about to graduate, with a university degree (BSc or MSc level) and have no more than 4 years’ relevant experience after obtaining your degree. Kindly note that prior experience will not be taken into consideration.
3. Please note that CERN Staff members are not eligible to apply for a Fellowship.

PhD Fellowship in Glycosciences at University of Copenhagen in Denmark are open apply now. One PhD fellowship in glycosciences is available at Copenhagen Center for Glycomics, Department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen.
The Department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine (ICMM) offers an ambitious scientific environment, with many different nationalities represented. ICMM aims to produce research with high international impact focusing on the functional cell, it’s genetic components and molecular cellular mechanisms in a medical context.
The University of Copenhagen is the oldest university and research institution in Denmark. Founded in 1479 as a studium generale, it is the second oldest institution for higher education in Scandinavia after Uppsala University.
Applicants must have excellent language skills in English and have excellent communications skills.
Entrance Requirements: The successful candidate will have a masters’ degree (or equivalent) in biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, computer science or related. Experimental laboratory experience and proficiency in both written and spoken English is required, and candidates with international publications and experience directly related to the research topics of the position outlined above will be given preference.

The grade point average achieved
Strong motivation and excellent scientific skills
Experience with following techniques an advantage: Genetic Engineering, Cell Culture of Primary cells, Immunology, Flow Cytometry, Glycobiology and Cytokine Research.
Professional qualifications relevant to the PhD program
Previous publications related to the projects and/or methodologies to be used
Good communication skills, both oral and written.

The UNESCO Poland Fellowship Program provides an excellent opportunity for international students to study in Poland. - 6. UNESCO certificate of language knowledge, duly completed by a relevant authority, if the mother tongue of the candidate is not English.
