Fater is an Italian joint venture between Procter & Gamble and Angelini Group, established in the late '60s to expand the market of personal hygiene products in Italy. Now, Fater produces and sells brand products such as Pampers, LINES, LINES Specialist, and Tampax across 38 countries in Western Europe, Central and Eastern Europe, and the Middle East. Fater invests 4% of its annual turnover into innovation and product development, and is headquartered in Pescara, Italy. Additionally, Fater has production plants in Pescara, Campochiaro, and Porto, Portugal, and Gebze, Turkey.
Fater Turkey is now looking for a dynamic, entrepreneurial-minded HR Manager to lead people-related activities and topics for their plant in Gebze, which produces ACE brand bleach and home cleaning products with approximately 75 employees. This is an exciting opportunity to join Fater and help them run and scale their #PeopleFirst agenda and initiatives on-site. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on attitude and be eager to help Fater grow and succeed.
Main responsibilities
- • As an experienced HR Manager you will collaborate closely with the Head of Gebze Plant and the International Head of HR.
- • Ensure that talent is recruited in view of the actual and future needs, and work on retention of our talent through promoting a motivating environment that encourages employees to improve and perform at their best.
- • Support and guide managers across the operational division to proactively manage their teams, identify potential and implement a performance culture that will deliver improved results.
- • Ensure target-setting standards and rules are cascaded and communicated to managers and employees.
- • Support the annual performance evaluation process, ensuring the documentation of performance achievement and ensuring communication between employees and their managers.
- • Support employee relations and internal communication process
- • Ensure that meaningful dashboards and reports are produced, adapted, and maintained, providing useful information to the management team to make the best decisions.
- • You will establish positive relationships by being credible, trustworthy, and approachable, act as a sounding board and coach for employees:
- • You address employee relations issues.
- • You ensure policies & procedures are tracked and applied
Minimum skills required
- • Bachelor's degree preferably from HR, Social Sciences, Business Administration, Industrial or Management Engineering and other related departments
- • 6-8 years of experience in HR including recruiting and business partnering in an Industrial/Manufacturing environment including blue-collar workers
- • A previous experience in Industrial/Manufacturing environments is considered an asset.
- • Demonstrable competencies such as communication, planning and organization and being service focused
- • Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
- • Self-motivation and positive attitude with a high level of energy and strong cultural adaptability
- • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a dynamic work environment
- • Strong interpersonal skills,
- • Expert in verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with and challenge all levels within the company (fluency in English and Turkish mother tongue)
- • Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications
- • Residing in Kocaeli, Istanbul (Anatolian side), or willing to relocate
